Obituary for Johnny Jordan

Johnny Jordan, 74 of Camden, OH went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 2, 2018.  Born on July 11, 1944 in Caryville, TN son of the late John Lewis & Leona (Wyrick) Jordan.  He retired from International Paper in Hamilton, OH as a steam engineer after 38 years of service. 

Johnny was a saved, born again Christian for many years and served the churches he had attended in many capacities which included Open Door Church of God in Eaton, OH. 

Johnny proudly served his country through seven years with the Ohio National Guard, Transportation Unit in Eaton, OH. 

Preceded by Sister, Janice Sue Jordan; Brother: James L. Jordan. 

Survived by his Wife of 53 years: Phyllis A. (Howard) Jordan; Sons, Johnny (Marsheda) and James (Tammy); Grandchildren, Justin (Tosha), Zach (Molly), Jacob, and Amanda; Great Grandchildren: Noah, Jonathan, Faith, Hope, Grace and Cory. He also leaves behind 4 brothers: Jack, Ron, Don and Jeff; Special Brother-in-law: Fred Howard.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 E. Main St., Eaton, OH with Pastor Elmer Buck officiating.  Interment will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Camden, OH.  Family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
